Dramatic Loss For Toledo At Cincinnati
Naama Shafir scored the last seven points for Toledo in the final minute but couldn't complete the comeback, Cincinnati held on to win 60 – 59. Shafir led all scorers with 16 points and added five assists. Syracuse also won in overtime.

Shafir Scores 33 in Loss
In her 3rd game with Toledo, Naama Shafir exploded for 33 points but couldn't prevent Toledo from suffering their first loss, 74-81 to Loyola Marymount. Shafir was named MVP of the tournament.

2nd Win for Shafir & Toledo
After the victory over Arizona yesterday, Naama Shafir and the Toledo Rockets defeated host Hawaii 67-61, with 7 points and 5 assists for the point guard from Emek Izrael.

A Winner in College, too
In Naama Shafir's first official collegiate game, the Israeli freshman led Toledo with 19 points on great shooting and made the game winning free throws with 4 seconds to play to lift the Rockets over Arizona, 64 – 63. In another game, Marissa Gobuty and Syracuse beat Siena.

Ole Miss Knock Terps Out
Sometimes you have to give credit where credit is due, Ole Miss played a prefect game tonight against Maryland. The Lady Rebels rattled the defending champs by forcing turnover after turnover and punishing on the break, they jumped out to a huge lead early on. Maryland was still down 17 with 6 minutes to go, was able to get within 6 points with 2 minutes to go but the hole was too deep. Ole Miss held on and rightfully so. Shay Doron finished her college career with 9 points in the 78-89 2nd round loss.

Doron Leads Terps Past Harvard
Shay Doron in a great game led Maryland to an 89-65 win over Harvard in the first round of the NCAA tournament. It was harder than the score indicates, but the Terps got it together in the 2nd half. Ole Miss awaits in the 2nd round (1:00am Weds - Live on ESPN Israel).
