Ashdod Up 2-0, rest tied at 1-1
Ashdod won in Raanana to go up 2-0, Ramla won easily in Jerusalem, Holon upset Ramat Hasharon and Ramat Hen edged Natanya.

Brown's Triple Double Earns MVP
Maybe for the first time ever, Jerusalem gets round MVP. Brown led Jerusalem to a big win over Ramat Hen and brought a teammate to the 1st team, along with three other winners.

Ramat Hasharon Is 1st
Ramat Hasharon didn't play a very good game but managed to win despite Ednisha Curry's heroic effort, 77 – 70.
Ashdod Falls Again, Holon Moves Up
6th placed Holon hosted 5th placed Ashdod and used a good all-around team game to get a justified win, 87 – 82.
Props to Brown, Finals to Ramat Hen
Holon came in as a major underdog but played Ramat Hen equally in the first half. Ramat Hen opened a 14 point lead mid way through the 4th but Holon made a great comeback to take the game to the wire before finally surrendering, 72 – 78. LaToya Pringle led Ramat Hen with a mean 29 points and 21 boards. Edwina Brown's historic quadruple double wasn't enough for Holon. Photo gallery
One Sided Affair
Holon pulled off the day's first upset, though the convincing way in which they won makes it odd calling it an upset. Holon played a great game on both ends of the court, got big contribution from the Israelis and blew away Ashdod who got very little from its foreigners, 86 – 68. "We erupted", said Meir Elyaho. "Lately we haven't been playing with the same heart we played with in the beginning of the season", said Tamara Moore. Photo gallery
Ashdod Didn't Lose
That seemed to be Ashdod's goal today, there's a difference between playing to win and playing not to lose. Holon came back from 13-points down in the 4th to just 1 with 7 seconds to go with possession but Ashdod held on despite a horrendous 4th quarter, 71–70.
Natanya & Holon in Cup 1/4s
Elizur Natanya completed a third straight win against Tel Kabir to easily stroll into the Israeli cup quarter finals. Bnei Yehuda beat Holon by a point but was still eliminated because of Holon's 29 point game 1 win.
Winning In 2nd Gear
"We played 15 good minutes tonight" said Eli Rabi after the game, a pretty accurate assessment. Ramla did just enough to beat Holon, but on a night when Anosike and White combine for 13 points, there were no complaints. Holon can only wonder what would've happened had they not had a horrifying day at the free throw and three point line, as they still managed to get within five midway through the forth. 71 – 62 was the final.
