Maccabi Ramat Hen completed its roster with the signing of 19 year old Ekaterina Dimitrova. Dimitrova is a member of the Bulgarian senior National Team who will face Israel in September.

One of the rising stars of Bulgarian basketball and European basketball in general, Ekaterina Dimitrova (5'10, 19), is Ramat Hen's 2nd bosman for the upcoming season. She joins a Tatyana Troina, Edwina Brown, Kasha Terry, Shiri Sharon, Dana Yahlomi, Sharon Zeevi, Chen Shtain and Lena Mustafina in Adan Inbar's deep roster.

Dimitrova has played as a bosman in Italy in the past two seasons with Terra Sarda Alghero, and averaged 10.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists last season in the Italian league. She also played in the under-20 European Championships this summer, and helped Bulgaria finish 9th with 13.4 points and 3.6 assits per gamt.

"Bringing a 20 year old player is a bit of a gamble, but when you have a point guard like Shiri Sharon you can afford to gamble", said Inbar about his new young guard. "One of the reasons I wanted her is her ability to play both back court positions at the same level. I hope she'll fit in well with the team".
