Pierson released from Ramat Hen

Plenette Pierson, who's been playing with a nagging injury from the begining of the season, was released from Maccabi Ramat Hen last night.
Maccabi Ramat Hen is starting to make some changes following its disappointing start and oddly enough Plenette Pierson, who's was very good last year, is the first to pay the price. The official reason is an injury, but she didn't look too injured to us so far this season. She averaged 16.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
Maybe there was something to all those reports who claimed Pierson is signed with the Lubbock Hawks of the NWBL.
Tracy Reid who was released from Ramla and Adia Barnes are two possible replacements.
