Brown and Troina to Ramat Hen

Maccabi Ramat Hen signed Edwina Brown and Tatyana Troina for the upcoming season.
Ramat Hen signed Edwina Brown, who played in Ashdod last season and made the Israeli League 1st Team, for the 07/08 season. Brown has played previously in Ramat Hen, in the 03/04 season when she led the team to the playoff finals with 16.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
Last year Brown returned to Israel after a 2-year absence, and had a great season in Ashdod. She averaged 20.0 points (5th best in the league), 10.2 rebounds (2nd best in the league) and 4.4 assists (6th) per game. Brown was the only player in the league to rank in the top 10 of those three categories. Brown participated in the Houston Comets' training camp this summer but did not make the final roster.
Tatyana Troina played for Adan Inbar in Haifa Motzkin last year, and has followed him to Ramat Hen. Troina averaged 18.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in 6 games with Motzkin last year. She signed in Poland after the Christmas break. In the 05/06 season she played in Raanana Hertzeliya, and scored 12.6 points per game.
