Additional qualifying tournament draw

The draw for the additional qualifying games for the European Champsionships were held today in Italy. Israel's women's national team will play in Group B along with Hungary and Bulgaria. The winners of each of the 3 groups will play for the final ticket to the E.C in a tournament in Italy, a week before the championships.
Israel finished last in its group in the E.C semi final tournament this summer, with 2 wins and 4 losses. FIBA did not allow Israel to host its home games during the tournament, Israel was forced to play the home games in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Hungary and Bulgaria played in the same group in the semi finals tournament, and finished 3rd and 4th respectivly. Blugaria lost all of their 6 games, Hungary finished with a 4-2 record just like the group's two leaders who advanced to the E.C, Greece and Belarus. Hungary was pushed to 3rd place due to tiebreakers.

Group A: Poland, Slovenia, Finland
Group B: Hungary, Israel, Bulgaria
Group C: Ukraine, Slovakia, Sweeden
