Mwadi Mabika, Anda Ramat Hasharon's guard for the upcoming season, will miss at least the first game of the season due to her commitments to helping the community in her native country, Congo.

Anda Ramat Hasharon will have to do without Mwadi Mabika in the 1st game of the season (against Jerusalem) and probably in the 2nd game also. The league starts on October 16th, the team would not provide a definite date for Mabika's arrival but said that they are in constant contact with her. Mabika is currently in Congo, her homeland, where she has a fund that set out to help women in the country.

Congo is in the process of setting up a democratic, multiparty government for the first time in more than 40 years. Over 4 million people were killed in the civil war since 1998. A ceasefire between the government and the rebel forces was reached 3 months ago, which allowed thousands of refugees to return to their homes and vote in the country's first elections. The 2nd round of the elections is set for October 29th.
