Barbara Turner to Ramat Hen

University of Connecticut graduate and Seattle Storm player Barbara Turner has signed with Ramat Hen for the upcoming season.

Barbara Turner (22, 6'0) is the 2nd American to sign with the finalist, Ramat Hen and completes the team's roster for this season. Turner joins DeTrina White, Marianna Raguz, Rada Vidovic, Shiri Sharon, Hila Izhar, Sharon Zeevi, Meirav Dori & Shiran Zairy.

Turner was the 11th overall pick in the 2006 draft by Seattle. She played in all 34 games, averaging 6.4 points & 2.5 boards in 18.3 minutes per game. In the last NCAA tournament, Turner averaged 22.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, which wasn't enough to lead the Huskies to the final four.

Turner finished her college career ranked 9th in total points and 10th in total rebounds on UConn's all time list. As a senior she averaged 11.8 points and 7.3 boards per game. Turner won two NCAA Championships with UConn, in 2003 and in 2004.
