A slight chill was sent down our spine, she's coming back. Mwadi Mabika, one of the greatest players to ever play in Israel, has signed with Anda Ramat Hasharon - the team she led to the championship in the 00/01 season.

Mwadi Mabika first burst onto our scene in the 98/99 season, when she joined Asa Jerusalem, of all teams, at the young age of 23. She played there 11 games and scored 21.4 points per game. A season later she signed with Bnei Yehuda, and scored 23.5 points per game (2nd best in the league). In 00/01 she signed with Ramat Hasharon, and led the league in scoring with 22.6 points per game. Ramat Hasharon won the championship in a 5 game series over Limor Mizrachi's & Chasity Melvin's Karmiel.

Mabika (30, 5'11), a native of Congo, has played in the WNBA for the Los Angles Sparks for the past 10 years. Her career average of 286 games is 11.2 points per game.

Her best season was 2002, she was named an All Star for the 2nd time in her career and averaged 16.8 points per game. This season she registered 8.5 points & 2 rebounds in 21.1 minutes per game.

Mabika won the WNBA championship with the Sparks in 2001 & 2002. She was named to the All-WNBA 1st Team in 2002.

In the 03/04 season she played for Samara and in 04/05 for Dynamo Moscow. Both teams played in the EuroLeague, where Mabika averaged 8.0 points per game.
