Ramat Hen sign White

Maccabi Ramat Hen signed Detrina White, who played in Bnei Yehuda, for the 06/07 season.

It didn't take Ramat Hen long to bounce back after Deanna Jackson and Monique Coker chose Ramat Hasharon and Poland over them, respectively. Ramat Hen signed Detrina White (26, 6'0), a very familiar player in the Israeli league. This will be White's 4th straight season in Israel, she has spent every offseason in the land of milk and honey ever since graduating from LSU.

White played in Bnei Yehuda last season but a knee injury kept her out of all but 10 games of season. She averaged 12.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. In the 04/05 season White played in Raanana Hertzeliya, scored 17.1 points per game and led the league in rebounding with 12.2 boards per game. In 03/04 she played for Bnei Yehuda, and averaged 18.9 pts & 9.1 boards per game.

White was drafted by Chicago in the WNBA's expansion draft, but didn't make the final roster.
