Mizrachi returns to Ramat Hasharon

After a successful season at Gospic, Croatia, Limor Mizrachi is coming back to the Israeli league and will join Anda Ramat Hasharon.

Limor Mizrachi (37, 5'8) who led Gospic to the Croatian league title last season has signed with Anda Ramat Hasharon for the 06/07 season. Gospic completed an amazing comeback in the finals with a 19-point game 5 victory after dropping the first two games of the championship series. Mizrachi averaged 14.2 points, 5.8 assists and 3.8 rebounds a game. Gospic also played in the Adriatic league and made it to the final four.

Before joining Gospic, Mizrachi played a season for Ramat Hen and led the Israeli league in assists with 4.9 apg to go along with 11.4 points per game. In 03/04 Mizrachi played for Polish champion Gdinya, and made it to the Euroleague final four. Before that in 02/03 Mizrachi played for Ramat Hasharon and won the championship and cup while leading the league in assists with 6.5 and scoring 14.4 points per game. Mizrachi, a legend in Israeli basketball, has even played in the ABL, Iceland and the University of Maryland during her storied career.

Mizrachi, currently in the States, said: "I had some major dilemmas this summer about continuing to play basketball or not, and if so than where? The moment Anda Ramat Hasharon became an option for me I made the decision since it's a big challange and I'm happy to be back playing in Israel. There's no doubt we're talking about the best quality team in Israel, the most professional club, and I'll be back with all my energies."

Mizrachi has cooperated before with current Ramat Hasharon assistant coach, Rafi Bogatin, as she played for his Karmiel team which made the finals two seasons straight and lost to Ramla & Ramat Hasharon. Mizrachi has also played in Bnei Yehuda, Elizur Holon, Ramla and Ramat Hen & Ramat Hasharon as previously mentioned.
