Hapoel interested in two players

Hapoel Tel Aviv have made offers to Tamara Ruzic (27, 5'10) from Serbia & Rosalee Mason (27, 5'10) from England for the upcoming season, but both players have yet to officially sign - in contrast to what was published earlier.

Hapoel Tel Aviv is looking to sign to European players for the 06/07 season.
Ruzic played in Sweeden & Poland last year.
After having contract problems in Poland, she went to Sweden where she won the Swedish league championship. In 11 regular season games with Solna, she averaged 14 points (50% from 2pt range, 26.9% from 3pt range), 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 3.5 assists per game. She also played for Charleston Southern college in the U.S. In 04/05 she played for B.C Red Star (Russia), and averaged 3.0 pts in 8.7 minutes per game in the Europe Cup.

Mason , a member of England's national team, played in Haifa Motzkin in 04/05 before being replaced after 5 games. She recorded 3.8 pts and 2 rebs per game in 16.4 minutes per game. Last season she played in her homeland and won the championship. Her team, Rhondda Rebels, won the regular season championship and lost in the final of the championship. Mason ranked seventh in the league in scoring with 16.8 ppg and in rebounding with 8.3. She also ranked fourth in offensive rebounds with 3.42 per game and third in three point percentage with 50%. After playing in Wales she won a bronze medal with the British National Team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Before coming to Israel Mason played at Manhatten college and was a 3-Time MAAC All Conference Selection; Led MAAC in scoring and rebounding 2004; Ranked sixth in the NCAA for rebounding 2004; All-Met Division 1 First Team Selection 2004; Finished career as Manhattan's career leader for rebounds (1,217) and ranked second for scoring (1,875)


also played in the Europe Cup, and in 6 games Mason averaged 10.7 pts & 6.8 boards per game. Before coming to Israel Mason spent 3 seasons in Manhatten College.

Both players have yet to accept the offers.
