Israel U-21 finish in 14th place

In their final game of the under-21 European Championships, the Israeli women's national team lost 58-77 to Ukraine and finished in 14th place. Karin Agassi topped the scorers list with 13 points.
Russia beat Hungary in the finals, France won the bronze.

In the championship game, host Hungary (which was in Israel's early bracket) lost to Russia 77 - 68. France (also from Israel's bracket) beat Spain to capture bronze.

Israel secured its place in D1 in the game vs. Finland on Saturday, and trailed through out today's game. The score was 44-23 at the half and 71-36 after 3 quarters in favor of the Ukraine. Israel did some damage control in the 4th and won it 22-6.
