After 8 years as Orna Ostfeld's assistant coach,Galit Musai has decided to leave Ramat Hasharon. Rafi Bugatin was named the new assistant coach.

Galit Musai will not continue as Orna Ostfeld's assistant coach next year, which would have been her 9th season. Musai will still remain the manager of Ramat Hasharon's youth division but her role with the senior team has come to an emotional end.

"Yes, I'm leaving," Musai told 'Safsal'. "It's not an easy feeling to leave after working together for so many years, leaving a place that's like a home to me after eight years, of course it hurts, Ramat Hasharon is like my family. To leave all of a sudden is hard, but I'm opening a new path... every ending has a new begining.. or as a coach I really respect once told me, one door closes and another opens".

Q: Where are you headed?
Galit: "I really hope to find a place in Israeli basketball as a coach or a scout."

Q: Was it your decision to leave or the team's?
Galit: "Let's just say it was mutral decision, it will be good for both sides."

Ramat Hasharon named Rafi Bugatin as Ostfeld's new assistant coach following Musai's departure. Bugatin and Ostfeld worked together 10 years ago. This past season Bugatin was part of Spartak Moscow's coaching staff and helped the Russian club eliminate Ramat Hasharon i nthe Europe Cup quarter finals. He then went on to win the cup.
