Maccabi Ramat Hen signed two excellent Bosmans for next season: Rada Vidovic – fresh off her Championship with Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Marianna Raguz – fresh off her Championship with Gospic, Croatia. Both players played for Ramat Hen before. Raguz' comments are inside.
Hila Izhar, from Raanana Hertzelia, also signed.

Maccabi Ramat Hen continues its signing spree with two familiar faces – Rada Vidovic & Marianna Raguz. Both are considered among the best European players Israel has had in recent years, and along with Hila Izhar, they're joining Monique Coker, Shiri Sharon, Meirav Dori & Shiran Zairy at Ramat Hen.

Most teams are expected to go for the three foreigner option this year, but Ramat Hen went with two Bosmans & two foreigners since they're hoping to raise enough resources to play in the Eurocup.

Marianna Raguz returns to Ramat Hen after a three year absence. Last time she wore the Ramat Hen uniform, the team still played at Kfar Hamacabia, in 02/03. Raguz averaged 13.4 points per game on 56.2% from two point range and 47.3% from downtown. Last season Raguz struggled with injuries early on and was released mid season by Ramat Hasharon, signed with Gospic in Croatia and won the Championship with Limor Mizrachi.

"It feels really nice to be back, it's a really nice organization, Shiki is an amazing coach. I love Ramat Hen, the management is great, really honest, I always wanted to play for Shiki", Raguz told 'Safsal' about her decision to commit so early. "I was upset leaving last year at Christmas, I just wanna come back and win the Championship in Israel, it's one of the things I want to do before I finish my career", she added.

This will be the sixth time Raguz comes to Israel, though not all of them were full seasons. "I took breaks but I love Israel, I'm Israeli come on", she laughed. "I had options to go out and play elsewhere but I really like the league, it's a tough season but I think it's about time I win a championship, don't you think?"

Her last stint in Israel with Anda Ramat Hasharon didn’t end on the highest of notes, but she's not thinking about that anymore. "I dont have any bad feelings, I dont take it personally, it's a business, its sports. I wanna stay positive, that's the kind of person I am. I just wanna win the Championship".

Rada Vidovic, the wonderful shooter who helped Hapoel Tel Aviv beat Ramat Hen in the finals two months ago, is coming back to where she played two years ago. Vidovic scored 13.8 points on 40% shooting from three this regular season, and stepped up big in the playoffs. She scored 18.9 points per game in the playoffs and hit 42.4% of her threes – including the unforgettable overtime forcing three in game 5 at Ramat Hasharon. Vidovic played with Ramat Hen in 04/05, averaged 13.9 points on 45.9% from downtown, and helped them reach the playoff semis.

22 year old Hila Izhar is joining Ramat Hen after a rather frustrating season with Raanana Hertzelia, where she played just 13.4 minutes per game and scored 4.4 points per game on good shooting. In the previous two seasons she started for Bnei Yehuda.
