Less than 24 hours after Anda Ramat Hasharon was knocked out of the playoff semi finals, Deanna Nolan spoke to channel 5 sports news show and pointed the blame directly on coach Orna Ostfeld. “Everybody knows she can’t coach because she doesn’t know what she’s doing”.

In an exclusive interview to channel 5, Deanna Nolan went off on Orna Ostfeld in an unprecedented manner. “When it comes down to it its just her and her coaching ability which she has none, whatsoever. You can’t be a coach and not know basketball, simple as that. It’s always our assistant who does everything that Orna gets the credit for. It’s time for her to step down and move on” she said. And there’s more.

“Everybody knows it, it’s just finally being said, by me. She says things on TV that any player and any coach should know, get back on defense, rebound. She needed to get us more on the same page, have more plays that work for our type of caliber players because we have a great team, but you wouldn’t know that cause of the way she’s coaching us. I think all these years she’s been winning on pure talent, not coaching. Our practices are high school level, 40 minutes to an hour and 10 tops”

Nolan also told channel 5 what happened in the final team meeting. According to her, Ostfeld placed the blame directly on her two American players. “She blamed the season on us, I don’t know if everything is our fault but I guess most of it, I don’t see how. Basically she was telling us we’re uncoachable, we have attitudes, but we don’t see it that way. I think it’s a 2-way street. I didn’t like the way they treated us.”
