Michal Epstein out for season
Lior Klinger ,01/22/2006
Hapoel Tel Aviv will have to do without their leading Israeli scorer for the rest of the season, Epstein underwent surgery to have her appendix removed.

Epstein will be sidelined and unable to practice in any way until March, while the regular season ends on Feb 13th. Epstein averaged nearly 12 points per game this season, 3rd best among Israeli players, and Hapoel has no replacement for her since Merav Dori has been injured from the start of the season. Dori is expected to return to the court at the begining of next month.

As if that's not bad enough, Andrea Gardner injured her wrist and is doubtful for Monday's game against Ashdod.
