Deanna Jackson (26, 6'2) will replace Amisha Carter in Ramat Hen.
Maccabi Ramat Hen released Amisha Carter and signed forward Deanna Jackson, Alabama-Birmingham 2002 grad. Before an injury cut her senior season short, Jackson was the #1 scorer and rebounder in the NCAA with 26.2 points and 12.2 boards per game.
Jackson is a 4 year WNBA veteran. She started her career with the Cleveland Rockers where she played two season, and then spent two seasons with the Indiana Fever. Jackson's best season was in 2003 when she averaged 7.3 points and 2.6 rebouns per game for the Rockers.
In 03/04 Jackson played in Korea, and she'll spent the next summer with the WNBA's Chicago Sky along side DeTrina White, Chelsea Newton & Stacey Lovelace Tolbert.
