Marianna Raguz leaves Ramat Hasharon

Marianna Raguz signed with Gospic, Croatia and will not continue with Anda Ramat Hasharon in the Europe Cup.

When Anda Ramat Hasharon signed Ana Jokivic last week it was unclear whether Marianna Raguz would remain with the team. Raguz, who was sidelined with an injury for nearly a month and a half, decided to leave Ramat Hasharon after they brought in Jokovic to take her place in the Israeli league.

Raguz signed with Gospic, where Limor Mizrachi plays, and should help them get past Provance in the Europe Cup's 1/4 finals.

This was supposed to be Raguz' 5th season in Israel.
She started out with Galil Elyon and moved to Bnei Hertzeliya in her 2nd year. In her 3rd season she played for title contender Ramat Hen and averaged 13.4 points per game. In the 03/04 season Raguz played in China, but returned to Israel in 04/05 and joined Hapoel Tel Aviv. She scored 19.8 ppg in 13 games with Hapoel before the team released her due to financial problems. She finished out the year with Ramat Hasharon in the Europe Cup and helped them make the final four with 14.7 ppg in 8 games.
