New Bosman for Anda

Anda Ramat Hasharon, who's yet to lose a game this season, announced tonight that Serbian G/F Ana Jokovic will replace Marianna Raguz in the Israeli league after the break: "She's one of the most talented European guards, and I'm sure she'll contribute to our team game", said coach Orna Ostfeld.

The record might be loss free, but obviously Anda Ramat Hasharon still feels like change is needed in order to reach the goals they set for themselves.

Ana Jokovic (6'1, 26) will join Ramat Hasharon in the Israeli league in place of Marianna Raguz, who will continue to play with the team in the Eurocup only. Jokovic started this season in Hungary for DKSK, and averaged 15.1 points (51.4% for 2, 29.6% for 3) and 4.9 rebounds per game before the team was eliminated in the 1/16th finals. Last season Jokovic averaged 17.1 points and 5.7 boards per game for DKSK in the Eurocup.

Jokovic spent the summer with Serbia & Montenegro's National team and averaged 8.2 points and 3.6 rebs per game. In 02/03 Jokovic played with Buducnost in the EuroLeague and averaged 21.1 points and 6.2 boards per game, with the highlight being a 30 points & 13 rebounds performance vs. eventual champs, Ekaterinburg.

Marianna Raguz, who sat out with stress fractures for about six weeks, returned to action just last week and already had an impact in the last round with a couple of huge baskets down the stretch in Ramat Hasharon's big win at Raanana Hertzelia. Raguz will stay with the team and only play in the Eurocup, just like she did last year when she joined them late in the season after being one of the top scorers in the league with Hapoel Tel Aviv. Last year Raguz averaged 14.7 points and 3.0 boards per game in the Eurocup.
