Tal Natan was supposed to coach in Russia this season but after things didn't work out there, Natan is back in Ramla and and he brought with him Ekaterinburg's ex owner, Shabtai Kalmanovich.

A few moths ago it was published that Tal Natan was going to coach ex-EuroLeague champion Ekaterinburg. Ekaterinburg was kicked out of the EuroLeague last season for using fake passports for Yolanda Griffith and Delisha Milton-Jones. This season the team apparently ran into some financial problems and it was reported that Natan will eventually coach the women's team in CSKA. That also did not happen so Natan is back in Israel.

Tal Arie, who was hired as Ramla's coach after Natan left, declined the team's offer to serve as Natan's assistant coach. Besides the coaching change, Ramla is planning to replace the team's foreigners now that they have more money.

Russia center Irena Osifova is supposed to join the team, and Ramla is also claiming to be negotating with the Houston Comets Olympian, Tina Thompson. The first offical change Ramla made was signing Crystal Robinson from the NY Liberty. Ramla has issued a request to FIBA asking to participate in the Europe Cup this year.
