Ramat Hen signs Amisha Carter

Maccabi Ramat Hen wasted no time in finding a replacement for Gina Farmer, the team signed Amisha Carter (6'2 Forward, 23).

Carter graduated from Louisiana Tech in 2004, and won the WAC Player of The Year award as a senior. She averaged 16.9 points and 10.8 rebounds as a senior. Carter will re-unite with two of her former college teammates in Israel - Cheryl Ford (Anda Ramat Hasharon) & Ayana Walker (Hapoel Tel Aviv).

Last season Carter played in Spain where she averaged 13.8 points and 10.3 boards per game. Afterwards she played in the NWBL for the San Jose Spiders where she averaged 13.3 points and 6.3 boards per game.

Last summer Carter played three games with the New York Liberty, and in 2004 she played for the Detroit Shock.
