Anda Ramat Hasharon lost 79-64 to the Croatian champions in their 2nd preseason game.
Anda Ramat Hasharon is taking part in an international preseason tournament despite being without Deanna Nolan & Cheryl Ford. The Israeli cup holders lost 79-64 to ZKK Croatia, the team they defeated in last year's Europe Cup final four to win 3rd place.
"This is the time to learn about ourselves, and a tournament like this with quality teams is exactly what we need" said coach Orna Ostfeld. Bess Greenberg led the scorers list with 11 pts. Petra Ujhelyi had 10 pts & 11 rebs, Natasha Brazkova added 9 pts, and Marianna Raguz finished with 8 pts.
On Saturday Anda Ramat Hasharon will play two games against two more Croatian teams, including Limor Mizrachi's Gospic.
