Phoenix forward signs with Holon

Elizur "Balisima" Holon continues to prepare with the signing of Angelina Williams, who spent the last summer playing with the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury.
Angelina Williams (22, 6'0) signed with Elizur Holon for the upcoming season. Williams, an athletic scoring small forward, was drafted 18th overall by Phoenix in the 2005 WNBA draft. She averaged 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game with the Mercury.
Williams is Illinois highest draft pick ever and the first to play in the WNBA. Williams finished her career 4th on the all time scorer's list with 1,639 points. In her senior year, she averaged 17.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, earning 3nd Team All Big 10 honors. She was ranked in the top 15 in eight statistical categories in the conference.
