Israel wins in Italy

Israel's women's national team got an impressive 70 - 68 win over Italy in a practice game for the last chance tournament.
Israel begins the tournament on Sunday in Croatia, and will host Ukraine on August 10.
The Israeli NT got an important win over an Italian squad that beat Brazil during the preparation tournament. Israel lost to Brazil yesterday, 85- 64.
Italy led by 10 with 5 minutes to play, but straight threes by Tamar Maoz, Liron Cohen and Merav Dori got Israel back in the game and sparked the victory.
Coach Eli Rabi said afterwards: "It was important for the girls to get this win, since our NT has lost many road games in a row. It was a beautiful win for us, but like I said after the loss to Brazil - it's just a practice game for the game in Croatia next week."
