New center for Ramla

American center Bell Jordan signed tonight with the Israeli Champions, Elizur Ramla. Jordan played in Turkey last season with Tawona Alhaleem who also signed with Ramla

Bell Jordan (6'4, 25) has spent the past three seasons with IUSK in Istanbul, Turkey. Last season Jordan led the league in rebounding with 13.7 rpg, and also scored 16.7 ppg. She has averaged double figures in scoring and rebounding all three years in Turkey. IUSK finished with a 10-12 record last year, good for 7th place in the Turkish league.

In college, Jordan spent two years as a starter at the University of South Alabama before transferring to the University of Alaska Anchorage. She finished her final season there averaging 19.1 ppg and 9.8 rpg. She led the All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference in scoring (19.3 in conference play) and double doubles (15). Also ranked second in the conference for rebounding and won GNAC First Team accolades. Was co-captain of the team. While at South Alabama also competed in track and field where she broke the school record in discus and shot put.
