Nakia Sanford joins Hapoel TA

Hapoel Tel Aviv completed its roster by signing another American post- the Washington Mystic's Nakia Sanford who played in Haifa/Motzkin two years ago.
Looks like Hapoel Tel Aviv is living up to their promise to be a top 4 team this upcoming season. The team signed Nakia Sanford (28,6'3), she joins Ayana Walker, Dominque Canty and Rada Vidovic.
The team's Israeli roster includes Michal Epstein, Merav Dori, Taly Noy, Naomi Kolodny and Katia Levtizky.
Sanford is currently playing with the Mystics in her 3rd season at D.C. She is averaging 4 pts and 1.7 rbs in 13.5 minutes per game.
Last year, Sanford played in Namur from Belgium and made the EuroLeague's 8th Finals. She posted 8.6 pts and 7.2 boards in 14 EuroLeague games. The team also won the Belgium Championship and Cup.
In the 03/04 season, Sanford played 11 games with Haifa/Motzkin, scoring 18.9 pts and grabbing 9.3 rebs per game.
