Shyra Ely to Raanana Herzeliya

Raanana Herzeliya signed their first foreigner for next season - Tennessee grad and San Antonio Silver Stars' forward Shyra Ely.
Hilla Izhar also signed with the team.
Shyra Ely (21, 6'2) made four Final Four appearances with the Lady Vols, and averaged 14.4 points and 7 boards as a senior under Pat Summit. She was named to the All-SEC 1st Team as a junior and a senior. Ely was the 14th overall pick in the 2005 WNBA draft by the Silver Stars, where she is currently averaging 2 points in 8 minutes per game.
Hilla Izhar also signed with Raanana Herzeliya, she is leaving Bnei Yehuda after 3 seasons.
Ely and Izhar join previously signed players Sarit Arbel, Tal Salz and Shiran Tzeiry.
