Hapoel Tel Aviv signed center Ayana Walker, who's coming back for her 3rd season in Israel.

Ayana Walker (6'3, 25) joins Dominique Canty and former Ramat Hen teammate Rada Viduvic in Hapoel Tel Aviv. Walker is currently playing in the WNBA with the Detroit Shock. Due to Swin Cash's injury, Walker has started all games with the Shock this season and is averaging 5.4 points and 4.0 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game.

Along with Deanna Nolan & Cheryl Ford who signed with Anda Ramat Hasharon, Walker is the 3rd Shock player to sign in Israel for next season. All three of them won the WNBA Championship in 2003.

This will be Walker's 3rd season in Israel after playing in Ramat Hen last year and winning the championship & cup with Ramla in 03/04. Last year Walker averaged 14.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, to go with a league leading 2.2 blocks per game average.
