Cheryl Ford & Deanna Nolan of the WNBA's Detroit Shock have signed with Anda Ramat Hasharon for the 2005/2006 season. Ford & Nolan, both All Stars and WNBA Champions, make Ramat Hasharon an early favorite for all titles.
Cheryl Ford, Karl Malone's daughter, will bring her talents to Ramat Hasharon this season. Ford celebrated her 24th birthday yesterday, she is a La Tech grad in her 3rd season with the Detroit Shock. Last year she averaged 10.6 pts & 9.6 rbs (2nd in the league) per game. Ford, ranked 2nd in double doubles last year, is a former Rookie of The Year winner. This year Ford is averaging 10 PTS & 10.1 boards per game for the 4-0 Shock.
The Shock's brightest star so far this season is Deanna Nolan, who is ranked 6th in the WNBA in points per game with 18.2. Nolan also grabs 6.3 rebs, dishes 5.8 assists and gets 2 steals per game.
