Canty to Hapoel Tel Aviv

'Maariv' newspaper published today that Hapoel Tel Aviv has signed Dominique Canty, who played for Bnei Yehuda last year and is currently with the Houston Comets.
Dominique Canty (5'9, 28), the versatile guard who averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3.6 assists in Israeli last season will join Hapoel Tel Aviv in 05/06, according to 'Maariv'.
The paper also wrote that Hapoel is negotiating with Marianna Raguz, who started last season with Hapoel and Chastiy Melvin who played in Ramat Hasharon.
The WNBA season tipped off yesterday and Houston won in San Antonio. Canty started and played 32 minutes, scored 10 points and added 6 boards, 4 assists and 6 turnovers.
