Say goodbye to Hollywood
Lior Klinger ,05/19/2005
Two days before the WNBA season gets underway the L.A Sparks released Laine Selwyn, Israeli National Team & Anda Ramat Hasharon point guard.

On May 20th WNBA teams must trim down their roster to 11 active players, but the Sparks wasted no time. Six players were waived by L.A today including Selwyn, who arrived at training camp on April 27th. L.A is one of the deepest teams in the league, and have one of the highest pay rolls thanks to their top six rotation players. With Mwadi Mabika's injury and Laura Macci's late arrival, it looks like LA will start the season with just 9 active players.
