Final Four in Italy, vs. Napoli in semis

Anda Ramat Hasharon received the news about FIBA's decision to host the Europe Cup Final Four in Napoli, Italy with a great deal of disappointment and anger. Ramat Hasharon will play Napoli, who lead the Italian league standings with a 19-2 record, in the semi finals.
The women's Europe Cup Final Four will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of April in Napoli Italy. Ramat Hasharon could've drawn either Napoli or Zagreb, and definitely got the tougher draw. Fenerbache will meet Zagreb in the other semi final. Napoli is leading the Italian league with a 19-2 record.
The recognizable names on Napoli include veteran center Vicky Bullet, Forwards Nicole Antibe of France's National Team and Protogal's Mery Andrade, and a few Italian National Team players.
Anda Ramat Hasharon really wanted to host the Final Four, knowing the great impact such a prestige’s event will have on promoting women's basketball in particular and women's sport in general in Israel. The city council took it upon itself to help organize the event. In a short fax sent to Ramat Hasharon's offices, FIBA did not give out any reason to their decision to grant Napoli the right to host over Ramat Hasharon.
Anda Ramat Hasharon's chairperson, Rachel Ostrowitz, said the following: "FIBA's decision not to hold the Final Four in Ramat Hasharon doesn't seem right. Ramat Hasharon has been taking part in European competition since 1992 (13 years straight), and gained a lot of professional recognition over the years. We're not into playing political games, we work strictly to promote women's basketball but I guess we're not close enough to the plate. In the next few days we'll file our protest to FIBA officially".
