Shay Doron named to All-ACC 1st Team

In her 2nd season with Maryland, Shay Doron was voted for the All-ACC First Team. With nearly 19 points per game, Doron is 3rd in the ACC's top scorers list and is the first Terrapin to be named to the All conference team since the 93/94 season. Crystal Langhorn was voted for the 2nd team, the highest ever by a Terrapin freshman.

Last season Doron was named to the All-ACC 3rd team, but as a sophmore she improved her numers from 13.5 points on 38% shooting and 2.2 assists per game to 18.6 points on 44% shooting and 3.5 assists per game. Doron tied te school record for points in a game with 39, scored over 20 in 12 games and was selected as ACC player of the week. Overall she registered 502 points, good for 11th place on Maryland's all time scoring totals in a season list.

Langhorn recieved the most votes out of any rookie and was named to the All-ACC 2nd team. Langhorn leads the ACC in rebounds per game with 10.3 and in double doubles with 14 in her freshman year. Her 33 points in Maryland's last game were a Terp freshman record.
