Women's NT heads to Turkey

Israel's senior women's national team will participate in the Eizmir Tournament, as preparation for the qualification games for the European Championship in September.
Tamar Maoz has been named the new captain following the retirement of Limor Mizrachi.
The women's national team will leave for Turkey tonight to play against five European national teams starting Sunday. The other teams are Latvia, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and the host from Turkey.
The team's roster currently includes 14 players: new captain Tamar Maoz, Ornit Shwartz, Liron Cohen, Sarit Arbel, Sharon Zeevi, Rivi Grinboym, Rinat Zalts, Katia Abramzon, Mirav Dori, Nili Natho, Shimrit Gigi, Laine Selwyn, Shiri Sharon and Taly Noy.
The head coach is Moshe Weinkerntz and his assistant is Eli Rabi.
