It was decided by draw that Ramat Hasharon's opponent in the EuroCup quarter finals is Szeviép from Hungray. Szeviép is coached by Goran Ujhelyi, Petra's father.
"It'll be very very weird to play against my dad", Petra says.
Anda Ramat Hasharon will play Szeviép of Hungray, which lost to ZKK Croatia in the North-Central final four. Petra Ujhelyi played for her dad in Szeviép last season and had 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in five EuroCup games. Both of her parents and brother played for the Hungarian National Team.
"It will be very very weird to play a team my dad coaches", says Ujhelyi. "Obviously in the game my first obligation is to Anda Ramat Hasharon. My mother called me today and promised she'll use this game to complete the family visit and come to Israel too".
The other matchups in the quarter finals are:
Faenza Faience Pallacanestro (ITA) vs. ZKK Croatia Zagreb (CRO)
Sibenik Jolly JBS (CRO) vs. Phard Napoli Basket (ITA)
Nadezhda (RUS) vs. Fenerbahce SK Istanbul (TUR)
The games are supposed to be held on Feb 24th and March 3rd.
The Israeli Cup Finals is scheduled for the 7th.
