Third straight win for the Northern team, this time without unnecessary missed beats at the end. The win puts Motzkin over .500 for the first time this season, and they need just one more victory to officiall secure the 6th and final upper playoff spot.

The first quarter ended with a 25-25 tie and contained no defense as Gwen Jackson and Jaynetta Saunders traded baskets. In the 2nd, Motzkin made an 11-2 run to build a 15-point lead. Jackson was unstoppable with 27 points in 17 minutes in the first half, and Motzkin led 49-38. Liene Jansone twisted her ankle with about 4 minutes left and didn’t return.
In the 3rd quarter the lead kept growing thanks mainly to Nomi Kolofny who had 5 assists in the quarter. The lead reached to 28, and the 4th quarter was strictly for the record.
