Bnot Raanana Herzelia signed forward DeTrina White of the New York Liberty and guard Tamara Moore of the Phoenix Mercury. White, who played for Bnei Yehuda last season, is currently ranked 1st in the WNBA in offensive rebounds in 40 minutes.

White put up 18.9 points and 9.2 boards per game with Bnei Yehuda in the 03/04 season, and was named to the "Safsal" 2nd team, but nobody expected the 24 year old 5''1 forward to make a roster in the WNBA, let alone become a major force of the bench for a top team like New York.

White graduated from LSU in 2003, and was drafted by the Fever with the 23rd overall pick. She was later cut during training camp. In Feb 2004 the Liberty announced the signing of White, while she was still playing in Israel.

The Liberty liked what they saw in training camp and White made the team. She made her presnce felt right away, grabbing 13 rebounds in 26 minutes in her very first game. White's minutes haven't been very consistent through out the season, but she is averaging 2.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game.

Tamara Moore (25, 5'11) was the 15th overall pick in the 2002 draft by Miamia. She played in Minnesota and Detroit before being traded to Phoenix in 2003. She graduated from Wisoncin in 2002 as the University's all time leader in assists and steals.

Moore was selected to the All Big Ten First Team in her last two years at the school. As a junior she won the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in steals per game with 3.6 spg. She was named Kodak/WBCA District All-American as a senior.
