Suez Picks Up Round 8 MVP
Safsal ,12/08/2009
Liad Suez Karni led Natanya to a huge win in Ramla and she's our MVP for this week. Joining her on the first team are one of her teammates, a Ramat Hen player making her first time appearance, Tamara James and... take a wild guess.

Round 8 MVP – Liad Suez Karni
After missing a week of practice due to sickness, Natanya's captain was excellent in her team's biggest win this season and probably ever. Suez Karni finished with 18 points on 7 for 11 shooting, including a big momentum changing 3-pointer at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Round 8 First Team
Tamara James – Raanana Hertzeliya did not play a good game, but James was one of the lone bright spots as she played within the flow, did not force anything and even dished out 4 assists. She finished with 15 points on 8 shot attempts, added 8 rebounds and a lot of positive energy that helped Raanana Hertzeliya get past the feisty Jerusalem.

Liad Suez Karbi – 18 points, five assists and a lot faith paid off big time.

Carrem Gay – Perhaps in an attempt to keep the management from replacing her, Gay recorded a nice double double with 23 points and 12 boards on 10 for 13 shooting as Ramat Hen crushed Holon.

Monique Coker – Finished with 16 points and 7 boards, but made the 1st Team mainly because of her defense. Forced a lot more Ramla turnovers than the 2 steals she got credit for, and made Noelle Quinn disappear in the final minutes.

Courtney Paris – Yeah yeah it was against Hapoel but still, we don't see anybody else out there putting up 23 points and 21 rebounds plus 5 blocks to boot.
