Ramat Hen Sign Jackson

After having to replace Ayana Walker due to visa problems, Ramat Hen signed NY Liberty forward Tiffany Jackson.

Tiffany Jackson (24, 6'3), a 3 year NY Libery vet, has signed with Ramat Hen. Jackson, a Univercity of Texas grad, was the 5th pick overall by New York in the 2007 draft. This season she averaged 5.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 14.6 minutes for the Libs. Ramat Hen originally resigned Ayana Walker and had to let her go due to visa problems that have to do with the fact she's played so many straight seasons in Israel. It sounds stupid and it is, but in our opinion this roster change is for the better since Ramat Hen needs a scorer.

Jackson came to NY after a wondefull career at UT, where she was ESPN freshman of the year (2004), first team all big 12 in 2005 & 2006, and an All American in 2007. In her last season with the Longhorns she averaged 16.8 points and 9.1 boards per game.

In 2008 Jackson played for Challes in France, averaging 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in Eurocup play.
