Ramla Makeover Begins

The financial difficulties Ramla is having are causing a complete roster revelation. After releasing Tan White, Ramla also released Nicky Anosike and Adia Barnes. This morning the team signed Matalya Belvin.
On Wednesday: Ramla signed Abiola Wabara
Matalya Belvin, who started the season in Ramat Hen and was cut, landed in Ramla for a tryout last week. Today she officially signed with the team, and became the 2nd foreigner as along with Olena Ogorodnikova. On Wednesday Ramla announced the signing of Abiola Wabara who was released from Ramat Hasharon, and now the team is looking for one more foreigner.
Nicky Anosike, who averaged 11.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in the Israeli league, was released from the team as a result of Ramla's financial problems. Adia Barnes, who played just 1 game with Ramla, was also cut.
Ramla is looking for another foreigner to complete the roster with Wabara, Ogorodnikova and Belvin. Belvin averaged 15.1 points, 4.1 assists and 4.2 turnovers in 29 minutes per game, helping Ramat Hen win 8 out of 10 games.
