Ramat Hasharon didn’t win the cup, but at least they didn't lose their PG. Erin Phillips, who hurt her knee early in the 2nd quarter of the Cup Finals, underwent MRI exam which determined no tear or severe damage occurred, no surgery is required.

Erin Phillips' injury is not as serious as originally feared in Ramat Hasharon. There was concern of ACL damage since this was the same knee Phillips hurt back in 2007. The club arranged for a quick MRI and today (Saturday) the player was examined and the results were good. "There's no major damage, and she looks stable" said Dr. Omer May-Dan. "It's probably a pull or slight meniscus damage, but not the ACL". The doctor added that no surgical procedure would be required, only physical therapy which Phillips will do in Australia, she flew back home today as scheduled.

Coach Orna Ostfeld who was by Phillips' side in the last two days said: "I'm very happy for her, for us and for the many fans who took interest in her well-being. It's amazing how quickly she connected to us and became a favorite. After two very difficult days, finally we had a few moments of joy".
