Ramla stopped the surprising Coimbra with an impressive 77-60 win, and basically secured its spot in the 1/8th final. Tan White led Ramla with 19 points, the 2nd game of the series next week in Ramla will be strictly for the record.

Ramla continued its perfect campaign in the Europe Cup with a road win in the 1st game of the 1/16th final. The hosts started out with some hot shooting but Ramla still won the 1st quarter 28-24 and controlled the game the rest of the way. Ramla held Ambrosia Anderson, the Europe cup's leading scorer coming into the game, to 12 points (half of her average).

Ramla dominated the glass and forced 17 turnovers on the Portuguese, who had just 2 assists as a team. Ramla led 45-34 at the half and maintained the lead in the 3rd. Coimbra managed just 8 points in the 4th, and Ramla was able to build a promising lead heading into game 2.
