Natanya Signs Erica White

Natanya released Navonda Moore and signed Erica White, a true point guard out of Louisiana State who plays for Houston in the WNBA.
Yes it's a tad bit late, but Natanya finally signed a point guard and a pretty good one too. Erica White (22, 5'3) was the 17th overall pick in the last WNBA draft by the Comets. She played in all 34 games in the 2008 season and averaged 3.6 points and 1.4 assists in 12.5 minutes per game.
White will replace Navonda Moore, who had a tough time fitting in with Natanya since she plays the same position as Natasha Brackett. Moore recorded 11.0 points in 19.5 minutes per game in four games.
White finished a successful career at LSU with 519 assists, 3rd on the Tigers' all-time assists list. She advanced to the NCAA Tournament Final Four in every one of her four seasons at LSU, and it ended in a painful semi-finals loss each time. As a senior, White averaged 7.9 points, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals in 28.5 minutes per game and was named All-SEC 2nd Team.
White is expected to join the team in the next few days and play on Monday at Holon.
