Natanya Signs Moore

Newcomer to D1 Natanya decided to release both bosman players and sign a 3rd American instead. They signed Minnesota Lynx guard Navonda Moore.

Navonda Moore (23, 5'10) is the new foreigner for Natanya. Following last week's practice games, the team decided to release Yana Shapiro and Valentina Voronova and replace them with another American player.

Moore is an Alabama gradutae, class of 2007. She averaged 13.6 points in 25.2 minutes per game as a senior. She was not drafted but was invited to the Lynx training camp and made the team. She played 35 games over the last two seasons, averaging 2.0 points in 6.1 minutes per game. Last winter she played five games in Poland, and scored 5.0 points in 13.8 minutes per game. Moore plays the 2 and 3 positions, which leaves point guard duties entierly up to Taly Noy and 40-year-old Irena Seroshtan.
