Hapoel Tel Aviv added forward Alex Anderson, the daughter for ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv player Willie Anderson. The team also signed Diamond Rogers and released Lauren Erwin who was originally signed.

Alex Anderson (22, 6'1), forward out of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, has signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv for the upcoming season. Anderson was named Southern Conference's player of the year. She became the conference's first player to be drafted when the San Antonio Silver Stars picked her with the 39th overall pick in the 2008 draft. She was cut during training camp.

Anderson is an athletic forward who goes strong for the rebound on both ends of the court, and generates most of her points by driving to the basket. As a senior in Chattanooga she averaged 17.3 points (51.4% 2pt) and 8.7 rebounds per game, a slight decrease from her numbers as a junior. She led her team to the conference's championship and was named tournament MVP twice in a row.

Diamond Rogers (22, 5'11) out of Alabama Birmingham signed in place of Lauren Erwin. As a senior this past season Rogers averaged 16.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, it was her best season at UAB.

Anderson & Rogers join Tieree Wilson, Shachar Alterman, Liran Buchris, Adi Ofir and Hadar Konfartos in Hapoel.
