Tracy Reid signs with Ramla

The defending champions, Elizur Ramla, signed Forward Tracy Reid today, who played in Ramat Hasharon in the 2003 season.

Reid (27 year old, 1.80) joins Gwen Jackson, Rada Vidovic and Dragoslava Zakula who are already signed with the team. Reid won the Israeli Cup (and was named finals MVP) in the season with Ramat Hasharon, defeating Ramla in the finals. She did not stay for the Championship series, which Ramat Hasharon also won at the expense of Ramla.

From looking at Ramat Hen's and Ramat Hasharon's rosters for the upcoming season, it seems that Ramla is relatively undersized. In response, coach Tal Arie said: "With our budget, I felt it was better to bring Tracy Reid who's 6'0 over any other average tall player. She can defend taller posts".
