The 2nd overall pick in the 2005 WNBA draft, a guard for the Indiana Fever the past four seasons, has signed with Ramla for the upcoming season. "She can be a hit in this league", said coach Eli Rabi. Ramla also signed point guard Shiri Porat.

Tan White (25, 5'8) of the Indiana Fever has signed with Ramla. This summer White has been averaging 10.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 29.1 minutes per game through 15 games for Indiana. White, who had a reserve role in her first three seasons in the league, has started 12 games due to Tamika Catching's absence. In 2007 she recorded 10.8 points and 2.6 rebs in 24.7 minutes per game.

"It's up to her to prove herself", said Eli Rabi, "as far as her potential goes she should be a very good player. People talk about her as a huge talent", he continued. "Today at 25 it's time for her to live up to the expectations, she can be a hit in this league and we'll do everything we can to make sure she will be".

In Europe, White played in Latvia last season and won the championship with TTT Riga. White only joined the team a few weeks before the season ended after healing from a foot injury. She averaged 19.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. In 06/07 White played for Gdinya, Poland, she averaged 14.6 points in the local league and 11.9 in the EuroLeague. The year before that she played for Fenerbache and averaged 9.8 points in Turkey and 8.5 points in the EuroCup.

White is a Mississippi State graduate, where she played with LaToya Thomas. As a senior she led the nation in scoring with 23.5 points per game, including a career high 47 point game. She finished the season ranked 1st in the SEC's all time steals list, was All-SEC 1st Team in her final three seasons and won the conference's freshman of the year.

Ramla also added Shiri Porat, who spent her first two seasons in D1 with Haifa Motzkin and Tel Kabir. Porat (24, 1.72) averaged 6.9 points in 22.3 minutes per game for Tel Kabir last season. Porat and White join Annmarie Parau, Ortal Oren, Inbal Mizrachi and Anat Goldberg at Ramla.
