Wabara Moves to Ramat Hasharon

Abiola Wabara, the Italian forward who played for Raanana Hertzeliya this season, has signed with Electra Ramat Hasharon for the upcoming season.
Abiola Wabara (26, 6'0) is Ramat Hasharon's first non-Israeli signing for the 08/09 season. Wabara joins Liad Suez Karni, Merav Dori, Nomi Kolodny and Ayelet Cohen who previously signed with Ramat Hasharon. This will be Wabara's 3rd straight season in Israel, after playing last year in Hertzeliya and before that in Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Last year Wabara averaged 12.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game. Wabara helped Raanana Hertzeliya finish the season in 1st place for the first time in club history and made it all the way to the championship series. Wabara is a Baylor grad, she won the NCAA title with the Lady Bears in 2005.
