Ramat Hasharon Signs Ayelet Cohen

Cohen, who was a key member of Bnei Yehuda for the last two seasons, has signed with Ramat Hasharon and will play for a marquee club for the first time in her career.

Ayelet Cohen (23, 5'8), a member of Israel's senior national team started many games for Bnei Yehuda over the last two seasons, signed with Electra Ramat Hasharon. Cohen started out great last season before being slowed down by an injury, she finished the year averaging 6.9 points and 1.5 assists in 20.0 minutes per game.

Cohen, who plays both backcourt positions, grew up in Jerusalem and this will be her 7th season in division I. Aside for Jerusalem, Cohen has played in Motzkin, Ramat Hen and of course Bnei Yehuda in the last two seasons. Cohen joins Merav Dori, Liad Suez Karni, Nomi Kolodny and Shani Levi at Ramat Hasharon, it will be interesting to see whether Limor Mizrachi will stay or not.
